I arrived at the park at around 6:00 A.M. I was there to video elk. But the fog was so thick you couldn't see ten feet in front of you. I almost went home but decided to drive upward. Then this happened. Awesome. Available as a print. - CLG

Colorado has more to offer than just mountains. For a year I have been trying to make my way to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Finally made it there and the wind was howling for most of my time at the location. At first I was cussing the wind . Yet the longer I shot the more I realized the wind was adding some uniqueness to the images. - CLG

This was taken at the Devil's Backbone trail, just west of Loveland, Colorado. I love this photograph. I love the fence line that leads to the clouds. I love the little storms clouds. I love the trees standing on top of the foothills. The more I look at the photo the more I am drawn in. I am proud of this capture. Also on that day, on the trail I met some pretty exceptional people. Thank you all for a great afternoon. - CLG

Wyoming in the winter can be a very isolating and lonely experience. It is the wind mostly that gives you a feeling of depression. In the winter in Wyoming when you drive the backroads, you can look around and get the feeling you are on another planet. It is weird, beautiful, exciting and a little depressing all at the same time. - CLG

The light was terrible but seeing a herd of buffalo crossing a river is not a sight you see everyday. So I snapped the photo. The original digital image was way too soft. So I went for the b&w grainy, high contrast processing. This photo kind of reminds me of a photo taken with Kodak Tri-X film and then over developed and printed on high contrast paper. CLG
